Today I heard a story about St. Augustine I didn’t know.
He came upon a girl with a cup. She was transferring water from the ocean into a little pond she had created in the beach. He asked her what she was doing and she replied – “I am going to put all the water from the ocean into this hole.”
Of course, Augustine replied that there was no way she would transfer all that water with a cup that size. She said “and yet you think your tiny mind will understand the nature of God.”
Today’s sermon was great.
