I was very pleased to be a part of the Conductors Symposium with Noel Edison this year. His choirs, the Toronto Mendelssohn and the Elora Festival Singers are two of the finest groups in Canada by a long way, and Noel is wonderful musician and conductor. Chances for artistic renewal and mentorship being few, this was a very important weekend for me to learn as much as possible. I was also lucky to meet four wonderful colleagues.
