It was a nice few days off. I took some time because of bad health, and I’m glad I did. Now, only 20 days to get an evangelist ready in the Christmas Oratorio. It’s a good thing my German is up to scratch! We are doing it at A=440, which is just so high! Ah well, we must make do as we must, and Bach must be sung during Advent and Easter.
I found the last of the Messiah soloists for December 14th today. It is nearly a completely new group, but all of them are really strong singers. If you are in Montreal at that time you should check out Christ Church Cathedral at 4:30 pm. It promises to be a great concert.
